Twentieth century Turkish realist author Orhan Kemal’s 1952
novel “Cemile” has been published in Spain, the Ýstanbul-based
Orhan Kemal Culture Center announced on Friday.
Translated by
Karen Eskenazi, the book was published in Spanish under the
title “Lejos de Estambul” by Takusan Ediciones, and funded
by the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry as part of a
literary translation subvention project, the Anatolia news
agency reported. |
