ISTANBUL (A.A) - 13.08.2008 - Novels of renowned Turkish author Orhan Kemal were published in Macedonia.

"Baba Evi" (My Father's House) and "Avare Yillar" (Idle Years) were published under the name "Vitet Boshe" by Shkupi Publishing House.

Orhan Kemal Culture Center issued a written statement and said Kemal's works were earlier published in Greece, Syria, Israel, Italy and Britain within the scop of TEDA Project aiming to publicize Turkish culture, art and literature to the world.

Orhan Kemal, (Mehmet Rasit Ogutcu) writer of short stories and novels, was born in Adana in 1914 and died in Sofia in 1970.
